The Wildlife Trusts are a nationwide network of 47 local Trusts, working to protect wildlife and helping to make the United Kingdom a richer and more sustainable environment.

Patron: HRH The Prince of Wales

President : David Bellamy

The total number of members of the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust is nearly 8000 of which more than 1600 are in the Mansfield & Ashfield Area.

There are a number of material benefits in becoming a member of the NWT - such as subscriptions to 'Natural World' and 'Nottinghamshire Wildlife' - magazines of the National and County organizations, as well as our local Members Newsletter. But by far and away the most significant benefit is knowing that you are part of the largest environmental charity in the County whose staff and volunteers work hard to make a difference for the environment in which we live.

Our strength is in numbers

With more members our combined voice is heard more clearly by the politicians, councillors and businesses that take the decisions that can destroy or enhance wildlife habitats. It is our role to make sure its the latter.

With more volunteers we can complete works on the reserves more easily and more quickly.

With more fund raisers we can extend the range of projects we undertake.

Help spread the word - join us today and show YOU care.

As a member of the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust you will automatically become a member of the local members group for your area.

Please click here to go to the Join us! page on the County site, where you will find full details of how to join, the membership fees, Direct Debit options and Gift Aid Declaration. Alternatively ring any of the numbers on the contact page and we will arrange for a membership form to be posted to you.
